Thursday, December 11th:

Good Thursday morning! A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect at 3 PM and lasts until 6 AM tomorrow morning. Look for a mostly quiet Thursday, with snow beginning to spread into Champaign County between 3-6 PM late this afternoon into the early evening. Periods of moderate to heavy snow should continue through the night, with 2-4” of new snow across the area by Friday morning. Another round of snow moves through on Saturday, again with 2-4” of snow possible across Champaign County, for a total of 4-8” Thursday - Saturday. A shot of dangerously cold Arctic air follows Saturday into Monday.
